One thing that I noticed with my Grand Am was that once I found the spark plugs I saw that the aluminum plate that covered them was a discrace of flaking off paint and corrosion. This would simply NOT do. Soon I returned from Canadian Tire with a brand new motomaster brand dremel tool thing and a can of silver high-heat manifold paint. Anywho, an hour and a fair bit of cursing later, I was ready to shoot on a coat of nice new silver. While it was drying I converted the car from conventional motor oil to semi-synthetic (read: changed oil and used more expensive stuff).
shiny!!
